3/4 C white rice 2 C whole milk 1/2 C sugar 1/4 t salt 1 egg, beaten 1 T butter 3/4 t vanilla 1/4 t cinnamon 1. Bring 1 1/2 cups water to boil and stir rice into boiling water. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes. 2. Add 1 1/2 cups milk, sugar, cinnamon, and salt to cooked rice. Cook over medium heat until thick and creamy (about 15 minutes). 3. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup milk and beaten egg. Cook 2 minutes more. 4. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.
