1 C long-grain white rice 2 T olive oil 2 cloves garlic (smashed) 2 C water 1 t salt 1/2 C bottled taco sauce (make sure there is vinegar in it) Add oil, rice, and garlic to a pot and heat until the rice starts to toast, stirring occasionally. Dissolve salt in the water and add to the pot along with the taco sauce. Bring to a boil, cover, and simmer on low for 20-25 minutes. Let sit for another 10 minutes, off heat, still covered.
